The Storefront ODD ARK • LA currently occupies was previously a small neighborhood convenience store that offered an eclectic mix of snacks, soft drinks, cigarettes, booze, lottery tickets and knick-knacks amongst other goods. For this exhibition, we will revisit the history of our space as the gallery is transformed back into a small bodega-like market, lined with makeshift shelves, hand-made display cases, clothing-rack and other support structures that tweak conventional methods of displaying art and tease strategies of merchandising and sales.
